Announced candidacy for Prince George’s
County Council District 4!
Engaging our seniors on Memorial Day at Pin Oak Village, Evergreen and the Willows with Council Member Todd Turner while being entertained by the incredible Foundation of Arts, Music & Education student led band.
Presenting awards to Bowie High School students in partnership with Youth Leadership Bowie and the Bowie Chamber of Commerce.
Welcoming the Tribute at Melford Retirement Community to the City of Bowie during its Grand Opening.
Partnering with Employ Prince George's, Ingrid helped facilitate Bowie's newest entertainment venue, Party HQ, with needed re-employment funds to sustain employees during the pandemic.
Serving as a member of the Executive Board of Liberty Sports Park. Liberty Sports Park is a multi-use athletic field complex located on a 76 acre site near the intersection of Routes 214 and 301 in Bowie, Maryland. It will feature a combination of 10 lighted synthetic and grass fields, a stadium field is planned for significant competitions, and fields will be designed to accommodate lacrosse, soccer, football, field hockey and rugby.
Marching in the rally in Annapolis to advocate for full funding for our schools with PGCPS CEO Monica Goldson and Dr. Pete Thompson, Principal of Forest Heights Elementary School.
Working with Council Member Todd Turner in support of our first responders during the pandemic.
Working with the Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce to welcome the new Courtyard Marriott to the city.
Supporting The Bowie Interfaith Pantry with Council Member Todd Turner and members of the 23rd Legislative Team.
Supported our seniors during the pandemic with food distribution in partnership with Council Member Todd Turner and the Grab & Go Senior Meals program.
Advocating for jobs on behalf of Employ Prince George's, for our seniors, returning citizens and citizens with disabilities with members of the County Council.
Welcoming Sky Zone to the community with Senator Doug Peters, Delegate Ron Watson, Chair of PGCDCC Cheryl Landis and President of PGC Chamber David Harrington.
Facilitating a tour of Children's National Hospital's Regional Outpatient Center vaccination clinic to Prince George's County elected officials.
Sworn in as Bowie City Councilmember At-Large
Rededicating the Ivy Youth and Family Center she helped to open during her tenure as President of Iota Gamma Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and The Ivy Community Charities of Prince George's County, Inc.
Honoring our Veterans during Bowie's Annual Veteran's Day ceremonies with former Mayor G. Fred Robinson, State Delegate Ron Watson, and Gerry Devlin.
Sworn in as a representative for the 23rd Legislative District on the Prince George's County Democratic Central Committee in 2018.
